On Monday the 21st, over 24 hours later, I get a 'payment charged' notification, immediately followed by an 'order shipped' notification in email. I immediately reply-all to the cancellation email, asking Powerland why they continued with the transaction after receiving the cancellation email from Newegg.

No response. I try the telephone number listed on their reseller page and get an automated system, which send me straight to voicemail with a message "leave a message and we will get back to you the next business day". I tried 6 more times over the next few days to get a live person on the phone from Powerland customer service and was never able to do it.

I sent several emails to try to resolve the problem and never received a response from powerland or Newegg. Newegg customer service finally advised me to refuse the shipment and then seek a refund from the seller - but if I can't get ahold of the seller and the seller won't respond to emails, how can I request a refund?

To top it off, I was told that the seller would most-likely change me a 'restocking fee' which Newegg would 'try to get back for me'. I did end up refusing the shipment and I also filed an invalid transaction report with Paypal, stating that the seller completed the transaction after I cancelled it - which caused Newegg to lock my account for most of a week.

So here we are 8 days later, the generator is still on it's way back to powerland, I am still out the price or the unit, and I have yet to hear from the company. Buy at your own risk. The Powerland unit arrived in good condition, packing and packaging in tact. I am very disappointed though in the pricing of the unit. Make it right for the next guy. If something goes on sale in a reasonable amount of time after the initial purchase, send a notification or something to compensate.
